Membership tickets bought online can be posted. An additional fee of 80p for postage and packing will be applied if you choose this option.
Collect in person
Membership tickets bought online can be collected at the Film Society’s main desk on our film night.
There is a transaction fee applied to each Membership ticket bought online to cover our transaction costs only.
Your online transaction is secure using SSL and encryption technologies, no credit card data is stored on our site or on third party sites.

Cookies are required for this site to function properly, we will not and do not share any personal data with any third parties.
A membership ticket has a unique identifying number, membership lasts for 1 season only, and allows you to see any of the relevant season’s films, the usual film age restrictions apply.
Chiltern Film Society reserves the right to change the film programme.
Refunds / Lost tickets
The Society does not offer refunds to the annual membership fee. If you have an exceptional circumstance then in the first instance please contact the CFS Treasurer.

Chiltern Film Society is committed to ensuring that members’ privacy is protected. Should we ask for certain information by which a member can be identified, then it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Chiltern Film Society may change this policy from time to time by updating this document, the latest version of which will always be available on our website. Members should check on a regular basis to ensure that they are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 15 May 2018.

- We periodically send promotional Newsletter emails about our film season or other information which we think members may find interesting, using the email address which has been provided on joining or when subscribing to our emailing list.
- From time to time, we may also use the information to contact members for our own market research purposes. We may make contact by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise our website according to members’ interests.
We are committed to ensuring that information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Controlling members’ personal information
Any member may choose to restrict the collection or use of personal information in the following way:
- if having previously agreed to us using personal information for direct marketing purposes, a member may change their mind at any time by writing to us, at the address below, or emailing us at email@example.com
We will not sell, distribute or lease personal information to third parties without the member’s permission unless we should be required by law to do so. We may use personal information to send promotional information about third parties which we think members may find interesting if members tell us that they wish this to happen.
Any member may request details of personal information which we hold about them under the Data Protection Act 1998. If a member would like a copy of the information held on them, please contact us via the website or write to the address below.
If a member believes that any information we are holding is incorrect or incomplete, please write to, or email us, as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
We treat all members’ information with respect. It is kept and processed on a computer database and subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We do not share it with anyone without members’ consent. Any member can unsubscribe from membership and/or newsletters by email at any time.
